Validate ISIN

Validate ISIN

An ISIN is a 12-character code that identifies a financial security. If you would like to apply for a ISIN code and need assistance with creating or generating and obtaining a ISIN number please reach out to us for application needs by email: isin@isin.org

An ISIN consists of three parts:
• A two-letter country code
• A nine-character alphanumeric national security identifier
• A single check digit.

For example: US30303M1027 (META - Facebook)

Financial and referential instruments issued in the European Union but not relating to a specific EU country jurisdiction would be allocated an ISIN with an EU-prefix.

On this page, you can enter a full ISIN you would like to validate.
